Two different tools for two different jobs
There is a real distinction here, and it is worth being straight about it. Established packages such as Pool Studio by Structure Studios are professional CAD software: you or your designer use them to produce photorealistic renders and construction plans for a client you are already working with. They are excellent at that and they are priced accordingly, at around $147 per month per seat.
What we build is a different category. It is customer-facing, it runs in a browser on your website, and its job is to turn an anonymous visitor into a specified request before anyone in your office has spent a minute on them. The two are not competitors; they sit at opposite ends of the same sale.

What the homeowner experiences
No account, no download, no waiting for a callback. They land on the page and start choosing. Every choice repaints a realistic image and moves the estimate. It takes most people between six and twelve minutes, and a good share of them finish it.
Shape and size
Sized in feet, from a plunge pool to 13 × 40 ft, plus a custom option for anything outside the range.
Finish and steps
Liner or plaster color, entry steps, tanning ledge, coping and the decking around it.
Equipment
Heating in BTU, LED lighting, salt water, swim jets and automatic covers — each with its own line in the estimate.
It is your brand on the screen
Your logo, your colors, your typography and your model names. There is no “powered by” badge and no third-party branding anywhere in it. As far as the visitor is concerned they are using a tool your company built, because in every way that matters to them, they are.
Three designers are available and they run on the same engine: the pool designer, a timber pool house designer, and a poolside cabana designer for a glazed garden room beside the water. Builders who sell more than one of these usually launch with one and add the others later.
Questions builders ask
Does this replace my 3D design software?
No. If you use a professional package to produce renders and construction plans, keep it. This sits earlier in the process, on your website, and does a job that CAD software was never meant to do.
Can the customer upload a photo of their yard?
Yes. The pool is placed into their own backyard photo, so they see it in the space they actually have rather than in a stock garden.
How realistic are the images?
They are pre-rendered photographic images for each combination, not live 3D. That is a deliberate trade-off: it loads instantly on a phone and looks photographic, where a live 3D engine in a browser tends to look like a video game and drains the battery.
What if a customer wants something outside the options?
There is a custom-size route and a free-text field, and the request still reaches you with everything else they specified. The configurator is there to handle the common eighty percent, not to replace your judgment on the unusual jobs.
